It’s not about getting it my way.
It’s not about what’s most convenient for me.
It isn’t what makes me most comfortable.
It has nothing to do with being right.
It IS reaching the outcome that is in the best interest of each child.
We can do that. Every single time. Does that mean it will always be the easiest decision? Does it mean our children will always appreciate our thoughts? Nope. We’re going to war for our kids. It will be exhausting. It will bring us to tears. It will make us second guess ourselves as parents and as people.
BUT.
It will always, always, always be worth it in the end.
...And we want nothing more than to be able to
walk beside you at those moments when a deep
breath is more than necessary and cheer for you
when your family succeeds.
